Welcome to the forum!!! Quite an amazing birthday gift if I do say so!! Did you get the car from the original owner? Any pictures of the car to share?

You can replace just the pump and clean the pickup assembly if its not too far gone. If not, post a want to buy ad in the marketplace section and see if anyone has a spare pickup assembly. I'd replace the pump with a new one as they are cheap enough.

Yeah that happens when they sit unfortunately. May be best to find someone parting a car out and buy a clean pickup assembly and a new pump. May as well order a new fuel level sender and gasket as well.

I Don't know. This is the first rotory engine I have ever had. Don't know anything about them. I have to figure out the basics. What it does then figure out how They had piston cars back in th e 60s.

Wanted, in need for a Fuel Tank Vent Valve. The onbly one I find is too small. The one I have screws onto the gas tank and uses a rubber washer. Itis plastic and the end broke off. It has 4 screws that hold it on.

You will want to create a thread in the marketplace section reference the part you need. The ad will reach more people and is the correct section for posts reference parts wanted.

Having a problem, fixed fuel tank and a fuel pump and strainer. have a rebuilt starter. Hook up all the two wires one from battery anbd one that clips on top. I can not get it to turn over. Saw a picture of what I think is the starter cut out relay. Do you have a picture of the starter cut out relay. I found a loose wire with no end on it by the oil filter, Does this go to the relay? I think that wire goes to something

I have taken the fuel tank off and pressuire cleaned it and it is good. Cleaned the fuel lines. have put another clutch slave cylinder and resevoir. rebuilt starter. have no power to the starter wire {not the power wire on the starter but connects to the solonoid. Looking it up they say there is a starter relay, don't know what one .Have a single wire that looked like something was on the end that is by the oil filter. comes out of the wiring harness. Can you tell me where the starter relay is and what is the single wire go to. Have stripped the interior rugs {really bad} Car is getting to me and I am in the process of thinking about selling it for $3000. The hard top for the convertable is in good shape but the convertable fabric need replacing. Do you know what the wire is to. Saw a picture of something connected to the engine that someone said it is the relay? Do you have any pictures of where the relay is. If I can get it running I might put the extra $500 for interior and the top. Need help. Used to older cars but this stumps me.
