Hi, Michael from Indonesia, just another rotary maniac.

Hello guys and girls.

I've been a fan of mazda rotary engine cars for years and had a modified 2002 modified black FD3S (wrecked it) and now own another 2002 white Fd3s as well a 2011 se3p (both stick shift with light mods).

Its a pleasure to join this forum, would love to learn more about rotary engine here and I'd surely post questions soon.

Thanks.

This was my first Type R FD3S with HKS mods giving 456hp using standard turbo with 14psi boost. It was already heavily modified when I got it and I was 16 that time with the car's mileage was only 5k and I used it only for another 5k kilometers because I was an idiot and a cocky bastard with no knowledge of rotary engines or safety driving. I ended up crashing my first love into a truck on the highway.

The mods that I can remember:
-APEXI POWER FC stand alone
-HKS twin power
-ARC radiator
-HKS intercooler
-NOS sprayer for cooling
-HKS silent full exhaust system
-HKS BoV (dunno which one but I'm sure its very oooold version)
-HKS gauges (water temp, exhaust temp, oil press and oil temp)
-Carbon fibre hood (forgot which make I think it was varis or cwest)
-Carbon fibre GT wing (again forgot the make)
- and some interior stuffs

However during the time I was driving this black beast there were some issues with the car. It kept overheating even though I didn't drive it hard and when I turned it off a few minutes later the coolant bursts out from the reservoir. Found out the same problem with my SE3P but not as extreme as the FD3S. I changed the rad into bigger ones but my SE3P sometimes still does that. Will ask this question in tech section later and of course post the photos of my current FD3S and my SE3P.

Cheers.
