Hi from Ireland!

Hi All,
James from Ireland here and I own a 1985 FB Rx7 which I am trying to restore.
I work programming machines for a living which means I am in front of a computer all day, so it's great to work on the car doing mechanical stuff or welding or whatever!

Looking forward to being part of the community

Hi Redbul,
To my knowledge no, the closest would be Racing Beat Europe who are based in the UK.

I bought the car about 10years ago.
The car needed some moderate rust repairs so of course I immediately began to strip it down to begin working on it. Unfortunately that is as far as I have got, and so 10years later not much else has been done with the car apart for a little rust repair.
That being said, in that time I have bought a house, built a garage and set about getting my "workshop" ready, and now I am at a stage where I can start working on the car in comfort.

Anyway, here she is in all of her "aged" beauty:

I hope to do most of the restoration (bodywork, engine re-build etc...) myself as I enjoy this kinda work and the skillset you build up from doing it!

The car looks fantastic and is one of my very favorite color on the RX-7. We didn't get that color in North America unfortunately. Glad to hear you're planning to restore the car!

What's the story lad! Dub here. I don't currently own but have owned FDs in the past back in the States. Promised the better half a house before another car, but that will probably happen at the end of this year or early next, so new toy isn't far off.

I'd be down to lend a hand wrenching but I don't know much about the FB. Perfectly willing to learn.

Well Team503, I don't envy you looking for a house these days, but it's important to keep the other half happy
Thanks for the offer, it's a slow process as i'm learning on the go but i'd be happy to share any knowledge I have!
