Smile Hi, I dont own a RX-7, i am currently trying to fix some problems on a friends:-)

Hello all,
I decided to register with this forum to pick some brains to help me fix my friends 1991 RX-7 Efini import with twin rotor TT.

I have always had an interest in these car's however currently own a 1995 R33 GTST Skyline myself.

One day I would like to purchase a RX that needs an engine rebuild as I quite fancy a good project. I have a fairly good mechanical knowledge and currently work for a large diesel engine company in a technical support role.

My friends RX has been sitting at my house now for a couple of months over the winter. It is his toy so not an everey day driver. It has had a few problems which I have managed to eliminate but in doing so have found a new symptom.

I was hoping some of you guy's may be able to help me diagnose. I will put a post on the newbie tech section title "Backfire and/or hesitation on full throttle" So I will look forward to some technical discussion with anyone who may be interested to help: -)

Cheers

Andy
