Hi from Hawaii!
Hi from Hawaii!
Hello. My name is Kelson and I'm 18 years old. I'm new to the club but not to the rotary car scene. I have a 82 with dual carbs and a 93 r1. Living in Hawaii, the chances of coming across parts are scarce. I know this forums will help me in the future. It's great to be apart of the club.

Thats legit man! Plus I know what you mean when you say parts are scarce. My wife and I are currently stationed in Oki.

OP,
Which island? I am on Oahu. I actually have a few FD items I have for sale (I have thread in the West For Sale forum and in the 3rdGen Parts for sale forum).

Welcome to the forum.
i'm more an old school rotorhead, but i'm really starting to be drawn to the fd. the most similar lines to the 70's mazda's, i think.
i hope you keep the fd as stock as possible. they seem to be modified a helluva lot. at the very least, keep the interior/bodywork stock and swap out engines/g'box etc. whatevs.
hopefully i'll have one of these sitting next to my rx3 in the future.

Thanks. I'm gonna leave it stock. I gotta change the muffle because that apexi muffler is too loud. I'll probably put on a set of rims and tires after I change the muffler. I won't do anything else because its got a new motor with 40k miles on it
