Hi Guys!

First time back on the site for donkey's years. Totally stripped my 1st gen over twelve years ago for a full resto, then left it for nine years. Took bloody ages to get it back together because the parts were spread all over the place. So after a lot of welding and modifications. (some of which will drive the purists bonkers!) I'm nearly there. Might need some help from you guys with the turbo wiring, as it's an elford setup from a donor, and I've had no luck trying to find out where it connects to the existing. I'll whack on some more pic's when I get me thumb out me butt. It's good to be back!

Smile Thanks for the welcome guys.

One of my biggest regrets, is not taking pic's as I went on. Apart from a big old layout, for suspension mods, from the states. It's been a rebuild on a budget. As you guys know, some spares for these babies are getting rare, and the stuff you can get hold of is climbing in price day on day. Hence, I've gone outside the box on a few replacements. i.e. MX5 torsen diff, Suzuki steering rack, Mercedes brake cylinder and booster. The list goes on! I'll whack on some pics, and you guys can judge for yourselves.

It's great that you were able to think outside the box and use other than Mazda parts to get the car going!! If you are ever in need of parts, we have a marketplace section here on the forum that can aid you in finding the part you need. Will definitely look forward to seeing pictures of the car!
