Hi everyone! New FD owner from Oklahoma

Well the story goes that I had an 88 rx7 that my brother had given to me when he got his 93 FD. The 88 wasnt in the best of shape but I instantly fell for the rotary ways you could say haha. After being ran into by a pregnant woman I lost the fc as it was totaled =/. A few years later my brother was in a fire and passed away as a result of smoke inhalation. Naturally his rx7 went to me. I havent been able to work on it or even look at it without thinking about him. So it has just been sitting at my parents house in the driveway rotting away in the elements=/. This was back in 2006, so it has sat for 6 years now. I am finally ready to move on and begin this great journey of bringing this car up to where it belongs! My brother loved this car and always wanted to mod it and make it faster than they already are! I hope to do this for him=). Seems like a pretty good forum here and I hope to learn a lot from you guys cause I will probably have lots of questions haha. I've been trying to search as much as I can so I do not ask the same question that has ben asked over and over. Hopefully I can get some pics up later and show the current condition it is in! Thanks!!

Welcome, Josh!

Sorry to hear about your brother. That must be hard.

It is nice to hear that you are keeping the car and fixing it up in his memory. Good luck with it. It will be nice to see how the project comes along.
