Hi everyone,
Hi everyone,
So I just bought my first rx7 or Mazda as far as that goes! It is a white 1979. I always wanted to play with one. With all of them I looked at over the years, it just never happened. Until last Saturday! I made an hour and 45 min drive into Iowa and towed it home. As soon as my carb kit arrives I will get to here it run!
I have worked on engines all my life. Whenever any friends do anything to their vehicles they always want me there, or my opinion. So I must have learned a couple things over the years. I took a 2 year automotive class but I did not want to make a living at it. Was afraid I would lose the enjoyment of working under a hood. Never became a person who cares about makes of automobiles. Always did have a thing for Volkswagen's though! In fact I bought a second rotary engine in hopes of putting that in my Westfalia camper van!
Other than that I have a 70 dodge dart a Diesel Mercedes-Benz and a Dodge Ram. My hopes of joining RX7club consist of getting information on what works best as far as intake and exhaust system combination's and porting ideas for my new little toy. I have a good knowledge of Weber carbs but its always nice to get other opinions. I also hope I might be able to help others with their questions.
Thanks
