Hi, new guy from Colorado here. I have a 95 REW engine in my experimental aircraft, so may be asking some questions from the car guys, thanks

Yes its true! Supercharged 13B REW with EFI and dual ignition boxes, twin fuel pumps and straight exhaust, in a plane! I've been a car guy for 35 years, always built the piston engines and had muscle cars and sports cars. So when it came time to buy a used aircraft engine for $8000 and rebuild it for another 4-6, I went with the 13B.

Yeah, with a 18" straight exhaust, its loud!

What part of Colorado? There are a lot of us in Colorado Springs, and of course Denver has a lot too but over the past several years they haven't been as active as before. We're still trying to keep everyone together though.

Hi Speedjunkie, I'm in Colorado Springs, the plane is out at Meadow Lake airport in Falcon.

Thanks for the info, I'll look that up. I have been hot-rodding my whole like, have a few projects in the works, I specialize in building turbo setups, trying my hand at supercharging at the moment with the plane. Also done some open-road racing and car building.
