Hi names Lance and I just got my first rx-7 on Monday even got to drive her home with the help of my friend and a dealer plate. Its a 93 twin turbo right hand drive. I just love the drive and it really does ride sweet. I have to do a couple of things before I put it on the road but thats one reason I am here as it is my fiorst rotory motor I hope that I will find some help her. Now about me a little I have a shop here in Barrie were I have been building low rider trucks for awhile and now have gotten the right hand drive bug I also have a 1994 nissan skyline r33. I must admit I thought it was it for me but once I got to drive the rx-7 wow. Antways just got to say hi and hope to find some people here that can help me out and really enjoy my new ride.
I just purchased and drove home my first rx7. I now own a 1993 right hand drive rx7 twin turbo and i must say the drive was great. I will take pics and post soon but i do have a few questions to ask and would really like to talk to some guys or gals that really know they're rotory motors. Anyways hope to talk to a few of you guys and hope there are a few guys and gals in my area. I have a small shop in Barrie where I have been bulding trucks and cars for awhile but this is my first rotory. I also own a 1995 skyline r33 and a 191 mazda pick up that i am still building but do have a full corvette drive train bolted in. I do air and fiber glass interiors and hope to get a bunch of us together to work on each other rides.
Hey Joe the car that you got is it black. I think it was on Kijiji was looking at one on there with the right side headlight cover missing. If it is the guy that owened it definitly did not deserve to have such a machine hope you get her back to its glory.
