Hi from Australia
Hello everyone,
I am from Melbourne, Australia. a while back i picked up a rolling shell, track only FD rx7 (you can import cars into Aus if you have a race licence as long as the intended purpose is for race/track only).
The plan is to build a track only drift car. Rx7's and rotary engines are expensive in Aus, so these are not a common drifter base down here.
I will do a build thread in the appropriate section.

Thanks guys.
I dont have enough posts yet to start a build thread.
Sadly the my budget does not alloy me to get a 13B for the car.
The first thing i did was cage the car. i am trying to keep weight down in the top of the car so i didn't do "x"s in roof ,rear or main hoop. However side impacts are common in drifting so i went for double 44mm side intrusions. Its a struggle in the FD chassis to keep the main hoop as high as possible and as far back as it can go to allow for a taller driver.
