Hi, all
I came to this site because I'm starting to seriously consider an RX-7 of some sort, although I'm heavilly leaning towards an FB.
My most recent project is a 1971 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 FHC. It was a restoration, as I kept everything that I could as factory and now that it's road worthy I'm eventually going to send it off to a paint shop and an upholsterer because I want it done right. I'm one of those people that needs a project, and while I will be keeping the Jag for hopefully the rest of my life there's only so much you can do to a factory restoration. So, the next obvious choice for me was an older Japanese car. I started out looking for TA22 Celicas and RX-3's, but all of them I've found are either a little too much of a project for a college student, or in too good of condition to buy with the intention not keeping t factory. Not to mention, they're all on the West Coast. So, right now my possible projects are either an FB, a 240Z/280Z or if I could find one, a 510. But, I've always been keen to rotaries so I think the FB will end up being my car.

I had my eye on an E-type Jag coupe at this sportscar resto shop I used to deliver to when I was a UPS driver. It sat in pieces on jackstands for 4 years and I kept upping my offer on it but Carlsson kept telling me that the owner wouldn't sell, so we watched it wither away.
OTH, an FB? Darn great idea! Welcome to RX-7 Club! The more 1stgen peeps who join the website, the better! Got a couple myself!
