Heyyy-O from Miami, FL

Hello fellow car nuts,

Well I've recently joined the fd club. Always have wanted one of these and I got a deal I couldn't pass up. I got the car a few months ago and it needed quite a bit of work. More than I anticipated. But that's always the case I supose.

This is how she sat when purchased. Not running.
Now running
She should be moving quickly pretty soon ; )
Have done lots of stuff so far. She came with no brakes. So a new oem setup went in. New wheels. Basically no pedal function existed. Now they all work. Had to address clutch incorrect instalation. But she did come w a beefy act clutch had to fab and install throttle cable and bracketry. Had no fuel lines. Ran the big boy e85 stuff and pumps and filters. One day I'll take more detailed pics for the community. The wiring was a nightmare. And is still being sorted out. Not one single gauge worked, key did nothing. And so on. Almost all sorted now tho. New fuel tank. Also had to be sourced as the oem one was toast. Oil cooler/lines, many other little things.. took a road test a few days ago and it was feeling great already. Installed a haltech f10x and began making the fuel map. Soon the dyno will be visited!!

I did this build to flip this car and make some money (I have a small used car business, this is nicer than my normal flips..) but I think I have fallen in love with her... Ohh boy, looks like she might already be home. Hahaha.

Well I'm looking forward to meeting some of ya'll and being part of the community. I love all cool cars. I have a 04 z06. Very low milage, and lots of mods. 600hp. Supercharged

A 74 454 corvette stingray, that I'm restoring. My dad is the original owner. A 93 454 1500 SS chevy, that's fully restored and at the paint shop. That the next one up for sale. Have 2 74 datsuns in the back yard that I took in a trade, one is a parts car. Those are prolly gonna get sold as is, was considering building it. But alittle worried about investing too much in the car, due to resale.

One day hopefully sooner than later I want to add an mk4 supra to the collection. Have had a few mk3's.

I'm Robby and I hope I didn't babble on too much. Nice meeting everybody and I'm glad to be on the forums and having such a cool new car.

Welcome! That's a pretty stout looking 7 you have there. Are you removing the body decals?

Thanks, yes sir. All decals and stickers have now been removed. I assume the prior owner had quiet a few sponsorships. Decals are not for me. I think they look out of place. Love clean body lines. Now consisering making a few changes before painting it. Thinking of removing the spoiler and changing the front bumper and hood.

I think it was a good choice in removing them. I think the right side shot of it without the decals looked far better than the left side shot with them. What color was the car originally? Was it Brilliant Black?

I'll have to take some better pics. Been working on getting it tuned now. Going to have to change the wheels. They are rubbing, at the stance I'm looking for. I had a feeling they were gonna be alittle big. Got a deal so it shouldn't be hard to sell them I'm hoping. Car was originally red. I'd like it to be black. I've been toying with that idea. I feel like I could get away w going a few shades darker on the charcoal and not have to paint the jambs and such. Gonna be looking for a nice set of jdm wheels for now.
