What's up? The names Lacey. I'm a relatively new owner, got it a few months back, of a '87 rx7 turbo II. He's my first car, named Sven, hence my username. Got him for $1500 not running from someone who, like me, knew nothing of rotarys. I'm learning tho. After talking with a local rx7 owner he figured out that the reason why Sven wasn't running was because of the CAS and that the timing in the car was off. So loads of searching and finding forums, I found a working CAS and installed it as well as setting up the timing. Now he runs. He needs new exhaust, stock one rusted off, and some coilovers (and a paint job in the not so near future).

The only thing is that the gauges that were once working, stopped working. I got the rpm to work, and the oil temp goes up when the car is started but the boost meter and the fuel gauge aren't moving.
