Hey guys whassup!
DRIFTING, DRIFTING, DRIFTING!!!(hahaha)
About 3 years ago, I was 16 and that was the huge fad back then. So I sought out to buy a lightweight rwd car. I ended up trading(my first car a Miata), for a 1990 Mazda RX7 GXL which had I think was 220k miles on it, had no receipts(but I believed mostly every word the guy told me, because I was young and naive). Basically he told me it was rebuilt, and had a mild streetport, and a lot of things I didn't know about. Soon after I researched everything I could about the FC, the models, the years, the differences between the Jap and USA ones, and other little things. What I realized with a help of friend I found online at a forum is, my spark plugs were in the wrong spots, my 4th and 5th port actuators were missing, and my tps was basically fried. The worst part was, I thought one of my rotors lost compression, or one of my seals was messed up. I didn't have the funds anymore to keep up with the 7, and I didn't have the feeling of wanting it anymore because I was scared it was going to break down again.
2 years later I had a decent summer job which paid great. I still had the love for the rotary engine, and the body style of the FC, but no funds for the FD haha. I ended up buying another 1990 Mazda RX7 FC GXL, it was love at first sight. everything in my eyes looked perfect, the paint, the interior, the engine bay, and especially the sound it made!I wanted to be different, because everyone else had the same car, either a civic or a 240sx. I ended up selling it thought to the actual first owner of the car, because I had to leave for basic training for the Marine Corps. I ended up getting discharged prior 2 week before basic, because I was 7 lbs underweight. haha..wow. To this day I still miss the 7. But once I have the funds I will buy an FD, and will treat it right! That day will come someday. Motivated, motivated downright dedicated!
