Hey

Hey everyone! The name's Kevin. I joined this forum in hopes of meeting other RX-7 enthusiasts like myself, and I may soon be getting my very first Rotary vehicle. =] [end of this month? It's my birthday month after all =D!]

But even before that, I'd like to learn a lot more about rotary engines in general, what I could do, what I can't, etc etc.

I hope you'll all be nice to me as I will consistently ask questions regarding what to do with my car before/as soon as I get it.

At the moment, I'm very curious about some things already. For example.. premixes before filling up? What plugs do I use, and for what? Rotaries.. anything major I should know about them? I've only heard generalized information about them "not lasting", but browsing here for the longest time, I've learned rotaries will last as long as your wife, are naturally loud and awesome, and spit fire. =D

The 2nd Gen RX-7 I'm currently takin' a look at has about 176k on the clock. It's in fair condition, a tiny bit of rust here and there around the windows, a light crack on the passenger side of the windshield, and everything except the seats, wheel, shift ****, intake, and cat back exhausts, it's stock. The previous owner just added in little innuendos instead of anything else I guess. Regardless, I hope I'm able to pick it up soon, and with everyone's help here, I can turn this thing into a big bad drift machine ;]
