HERE WE GO! Stock 89 w/Pics
OK. 17 Years old, First car, No License.
Its all good tho. I always knew I would be getting something Japanese with an FR layout. If it weren't for me seeing how many problems my brother had with his MK3, I'd probably be on a Supra forum right now. But anyways I know I made the right choice with this FC.
Started looking on Craigslist months ago for RX7's. I got really close to buying a Bridged 1979 Rx7. It had a lot of aftermarket but it turned out it was in just horible condition and not worth anywhere near what the guy wanted. BTW I don't have a job and made the money for a car by buying and selling on craigslist. I ended up bringing in ridiculous amounts of profit. It was a lot of work but it was fun as hell. I would spend all hours of the night with my best friend in my garage re-building and repainting mini bikes, dirt bikes, and go karts. I was fully overhauling small engines. I never looked at it as work but it was just the thought of actually finishing a project and getting to blast it down the street lol
Those were the best times. When I unlocked the Classified section of the forum, I was surprised. It was way better than all the crap you see on craigslist.
The owner didn't seem to know too much about cars but he was still a cool guy. The engine was super clean but the car was freakin dirty as hell!
The guy gave me a car fax along with it and it turns out it did sit in storage for a while. It has only 90k on it which was great. The car fax is pretty cool. It shows that it was manufactured in Hiroshima, Japan in 1989 but that it actually left the dealer 4 years later. It even shows the original signature. It's just neat to see all the history this car has gone through. As of now it has no tags or Insurance so its going to be in my driveway for a short while. But at least I now have more time to work on it. After all it is an RX7!

I plan on uploading some pics of the interior once I clean it a little better.
