Here for the party - from Kentucky
Lately I've been getting the itch for a new (to me) car, and I'm here to learn more about the FD rx7.
Three cars have always been on my list of semi-attainable dream cars: the mk4 Supra, the SR II Viper, and the most beautiful vehicle ever, the FD rx7.
Supras are too expensive, Vipers are impractical, and FD rx7s are... maybe still reasonable for middle-class me?
A few days ago my wife jokingly said "you can get whatever you want if you clean out the garage"... game time boys!
My wife has no idea of the bad decisions going through my mind right now.
She thought I was joking when I told her that if I ever end up with an rx7 I'll build a cage around it to keep it safe from the kids (and her).
Right now I have an '05 Subaru Legacy GT 5-spd wagon. It's unique and fun, but not exciting.
The car is mostly stock aside from a few bits and pieces I tossed in when I rebuilt the motor a few years ago.
I'm semi-active on the LegacyGT.com forums but I don't identify as a Subaru bro.
I do all of the maintenance and repairs on my family's vehicles, and I can handle whatever the road throws at me other than bodywork.
