Here to learn, thanks for reading
My name is Jeremy, new to the forums. I was level 3 labour working full-time construction, this is my last year in construction, as I thought it was about time I quit living the life I was expected to live, and follow my own interests. My first two cars were both theft writeoffs, but I'm addicted to expensive toys...
Working a second, much better job now. Importing cars (Japan or US to Canada only at the moment). Want to start with engines and other parts soon. Based in central Canada. I'm probably a kid compared to most of you, but I still feel like i lost too many years doing something I could not care less about, so I'm here to learn as much as I possibly can about these cars. Considering some of the questions I have seen asked without being flamed, this seems to be a very supportive community.
Got a 92 rx-7, Type R right now (compares with 93 us/cdn model), hand picked it out of a few hundred. I was going for a classy, clean look. A handfull of aftermarket parts, I'll paraphrase.
Greddy intakes
water temp/exhaust/boost gauges
welded intercooler piping
lowered tein suspension
3.5 exhaust on the end, probably 3 full though
99spec front bumper with ground effects (someone confirm this?)
body kit sides/back
hlc headlight cover
sparco seat, wheel and some other goodies
cusco sway bars
recirculater - was planning on keeping... good choice?
gorgeous Rx-8 style tailights... who makes these?
Mirrors... anyone know where these came from?
I just chopped the spoiler down literally 6"... the previous owner in Japan liked his rice?... see the aluminum cut outs?
bunch of others
Plans include a v-mount, knight sport headlights, 18" Enkei wdm's, big brake, and eventual buildup to a single turbo... unless it sells soon (because a RE-Amemiya modded Rx-7 might be headed this way)

Awesome to see some locals! I can do 180's or 240's, but you might as well get a Silvia while your at it... it's worth it trust me, and the cost is nearly the same for an import anyway. I'll send you a pm in a bit
