Here at last
I have owned the heavily modified '79 RX7 that graced Car and Driver magazine's January 1981 cover. It has been dead reliable until....now. It is currently just dead due to a perplexing electrical issue. I will solicit assistance with details soon.
I have had a long, lucky life with Mazdas including racing in IMSA RS (RX2), and breaking three Bonneville records in an RX3, RX7, and RX7 Turbo. The last accomplishment--238 mph 2-way average--is still in the record book. Please forgive my bragging but it's the best way to introduce me and my exploits.
I am looking forward to my active membership in the club. sincerely, Don Sherman
