Just bought my first rotary, a 91 rx7 vert. This car needs plenty of fiddly bits, but with a top-down ride they seemed acceptable! The forums have answered or solved many common issues that at first made me think I should sell it to find a better one. I still have the "death wobble" at 60mph after tightening the wheel bearings, but haven't had it to the shop yet (starving artist,lol) Still fiddling with the bouncing cold idle.
Thanks to the members for providing information about Wiper motors operating at one speed(relay ordered), Sloppy shift gate(bushings ordered) Leaking injectors making for hard start after sitting (injector cleaner in tank has help greatly, plan to send out for cleaning when time and money permit) I also seem to need a fuel sock(on occasion dies on left cornering when tank is low) Some other issues, and missing parts, too, but enough for now!
