Hi all, I've never owned a RX-7 before, but recently picked up this 79' model. It's been ported, header, dual Webers, LSD rear from 83, 5 spd, lowered, 15" rims & a few other mods. It runs well, but has a few issues to sort before Spring. Will post about those in another section. Been lurking for sometime and figured it's time to join. TY
Welcome to the forum!! The car is gorgeous and I bet it's a blast to drive! Do you know any of the car's prior history?
The motor is an old build by a now closed company called Autotrix in NY. The car wasn't driven that much and then put into long term storage. The guy before me got it back on the road in 2018 and put about 7k miles on it. He did some suspension mods as well. Total milage is 81k. Only taken for a short test drive, but drove nice and pulled hard. Cold/snow here in VT, so won't be driving for a few months yet. Will take some proper photos then. TY
Sounds like the car has a good history to it and a well documented one at that! It's nice to know who built the engine and where it's been since. Adds to the car's character!
