Hello from the UK :)

Hi everyone, have been visiting the site for a while now but thought i'd register properly and say hi.

Currently have a 1992 UK RX7 still on twins (which i love), but has the usual mods, IC, Intake, Exhaust, HKS d/p, Apexi PFC etc etc

Rebuilt the engine myself at christmas just gone and currently has abut 5000 miles on it since then

Anyways, just a quick hello, will have a browse now properly

Cheers

Scott

Grettings,

How long did it take you to rebuild your Engine?
Were you able to find all the parts you needed easily?

Hi Todd,

Found all the parts easily enough yes as we have some great tuners and RX7 builders here in the UK and also very helpful.

in total i took the car off the road in October. Removed the engine mid November and started to take it apart and clean everything up. Checked all tolerances etc and then ordered what i needed/wanted. I replaced everything internally, apart from the rotors, plates and housings. All external parts were re-used bar a new water pump.

Took about 4 hours to build the block, including tea breaks. All external parts were then fitted over the course of a week (due to working also) and the car was back on the road for it's MOT on January 10th 2009 with 5 miles on the engine.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I will be fitting a Bosch 044 within the stock tank location this weekend also, so more fun to come
