hey guys and girls, i am new to the forums, i plan on purchasing a 1985 rx-7 and i wanted to know more info about the car. the main reason of purchasing the rx-7 is so i can learn how to drift. hopefully ill be able to learn lots from you people here.

85 was a great year for the RX7. I have one myself.
If you are looking into drifting, check out the drifting section. lots to learn in there.

Hey man glad to see another from the area join in the fun, I have an 87 myself, and if find any beginner drift events let me no I would b glad to come and try and learn

 

There were a few events that used to be held at Capital City Speedway in Ottawa. I haven't been there in years though and am not to sure if they still hold any drift specific events.

 

sure thing dude, but i am mainly going to learn in my backyard. i got 100 acres of land, just need to pave a road
