CA Hello from Sacramento

Hope to figure this sight out. Been on as a guest a few times. Want to get my 1980 back up and running before I retire. 257,000 miles on it before I garaged it back in '94. It ran strong but had an oil leak so I did a non-op with DMV. Fired it up only a few times since then. Probably needs a lot of work. Body looks good and I loved the ride back in the day. It's time!

Welcome aboard, BRAU! All the info you need to get the rex back on the road can definitely be found here but if there's one thing rotary engines really don't like (besides sudden loss of coolant from the radiator, that is...), it's to not be used regularly. The rubber seals inside the engine dry out in quick fashion and I'm thinking you're oil leak may be a result of that aging.

Post up a thread in the New Member Tech section with specifics and maybe a pic of where the oil leak is coming from and let's get started!
