Hello every one!

I am newbie, I am here to get knowledge about Rx-7 and about its care. I am from Pakistan and fan of Mazda Rx-7. Hope this forum will help people like us ( Pakistan ) where rotary engine mechanics/tuner are very rare and hard to find them to understand rotary engine.

Welcome RX-7 fan! From all we read here in the USA about what's going on in Pakistan, you wouldn't think having fun with cars was possible over there. It's great to see you trying to enjoy life and great to see you've chosen our website to learn more about these wonderful cars!

What's your name and what made you start thinking about RX-7's?

Mario III

Hello guys, thanks for warm welcome from Mar3 bro , Mar3 bro my name is Faisal, and mostly people enjoy cars n driving fast on roads.
But sum specific type of people go on Tracks for race, on Saturday Sunday evenings on the roads of Defence Area Karachi , these are not official tracks for racing and this is not officially organized race area, simply go.... bet n have a race but there are sum criteria to join the race.

From the time I saw the Fast & Furious iii Tokyo Drift movie, I started loving Rx-7 but as i mentioned already that I am a Newbie so before getting this Legendary Vehicle I should know how to maintain the Mona Lisa of Drift World and to understand about rotary engine and about its care

@ CAB bro

I am still fan and very soon I will have it :X but before having it I must understand bout its care

Thanks for great courage

That's great bro Cab, very true the more you read n search more you learn from different people experiences.

Bro very soon I will get my Mazda Rx-7 I just have to clear sum stuff before purchasing it cause in which vehicle I am interested its not here, its in United Kingdom for sale, so before getting it I need to know its not accident before or nor abused one, no major work n clean one, and then I need to know the procedure to get the vehicle here in Pakistan Easily. I am not going to get Rx-7 from Pakistan or Japan cause Pakis & Japanese vehicles abused roughly.

And I heard after 100k mileage Rotary Engine goes down then you need to change them or rebuild them again, here in Pakistan very few people understand Rotary and on very rare points you can Tune them. So with self search n reading articles helping out my own self cause as i mentioned above rarely people know about Rotary engine so wish me best of luck to understand Rotary

It's good to see you doing a LOT of research before taking the plunge into the rotary world. Like any engine, it simply depends on how you run that engine as far as how long it will last.

The stock 12A rotary engine in my 1983 RX-7 is naturally aspirated (no turbos) and is getting ready to cross the 200,000 mile mark...and it only puffs a little smoke on start up.
