Hey! First-time rotary owner. Last month I bought a 1988 S4 FC convertible with the intent of making it run well and look as nice as possible. I've already done a good amount of research and gotten some experience working on the car, but any general advice on the car would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. The car looks well taken care of, buy my advice is this: these are old cars, so do all the maintenance items you can. Go through it carefully and take care of anything that looks suspect. And drive it hard

Thank you! As far as I know, previous owner kept it in his garage in North Georgia and drove it sparingly. Most of the miles were done by the owner before him, and it seemed like they took decent care of it.

 

It does appear to have been well cared for! How many miles are on the car?

~150,000 miles, and the engine was rebuilt at ~110,000 miles.
