Here is a little background info. Names marquise i am a performance oriented person meaning id rather go fast or try to go fast instead of looking good. Im all through stockton and oakland to san jose. I have been working on cars since i was 12 or so im 18 now will be 19 dec 14....

I don't own a rx7 or rotary engine "yet" but i do own a 1973 Datsun 240z. My rod in cylinder 5 wanted fresh air so it poked its head out of the block to breath a little. So now im doing major research on swap possibilities for my winter project.
Im going to buy a test engine to tear down to see how everything is and put it back together and hope someone will install it in their car and see how good/bad i did.

I don't know anything about rotarys yet but since you all made this forum and put all the good info in it i guess i have to spend a month reading all the do's dont's and stickys im not like the typical new member that post for help 24/7 i like to read and find out things on my own and i have a crush on the SEARCH button

So yeah this swap may or may not happen so dont pay too much attention to it. My goal is to have a 13b NA making near 200ish hp or if i can get the money a 20b NA making near 250-300hp either will be carb'd.

I have though of many many swaps. And i want to do something different. A motor with no pistons is unique in my book and i get to confuse the hell out of people thinking i have a transfer case as my engine. Yes, when my friend got a 13b the people at pick n pull thought the motor was a transfer case.
