hello everyone, my name is Tanner i am 17 and i have just came across this wonderful site. I do not own a rx7 at the time but i am planing on buying a 93-94 very soon i have the money but just haven't found the one yet. I was introduced to the rx7 at the age of 5 when my brother bought his 1991 rx7. when i saw him driving it up the street i fell in love with it at that very moment and from the age 5 i have always wanted one. i am a noob when it comes to rx7 motors but not many people know about them. i have about $23,000 to spend on one so my plan is to buy one around $10,000-$14,000 and drop $12,000 into the engine. some of you might think that i am a spoiled kid because what kid at 17 has $23,000 to spend on a car but recently my father passed away and in his will he left me a good amount of money so what my plan was to buy the car i wanted fix it up and give the rest of the money to my mother. that's my story and i hope this site will help me significantly, thank you all for reading

 

This site will help you significantly. First, condolences on your Father's passing. I'm sure he would've harassed the heck out of you for wanting to spend big money on an old Japanese sportscar.

hey man whats goin on? i was in a similar situation 3 years ago, when i got my first rx7. Its a 94 with a stage one port, garret gt40r turbo,3 row intercooler, aem meth injection, full body kit, lambo doors, ect ect ect. I just got her back acouple days ago and im breaking her in now, should make 400whp no prob on pump gas safely. up the boost install a better fuel pump and it should make 500whp no problem but of corse with power comes less reliablility, my plan was to get it to about 450. Either way ill be looking to sell her after the break in and the tune, prob about a month or so.
