Hello, new guy from BC, Canada.
Hey everyone, my name is Lee, I am from Vernon, BC, Canada I am 22 years old.
A few years ago I had purchased an 88 RX-7 from a client who's house I had built an addition on ( I do contracting work half of the year ) and I had let it sit ever since a few months ago. I have always liked cars, but I was never really very "car-smart", but ever since I started driving and learning about RX-7s, I have been hooked!
I currently only have my Learners permit, but will be going in soon for my N and will be able to drive by myself
I have looked my car through and am now in the process of buying new parts to replace the old "dying" parts. Fortunately my father is a mechanic and is pretty handy when it comes to body work, some of this stuff is new to him as well and we have been working on this car together so far. I plan to order a body kit and a set of brand new adjustable coil-over struts/shocks in the next week, so I am pretty stoked on that!
I decided to join this forum, as I always come across it in my searches for parts/info.
I am hoping that in joining this forum that I will gain knowledge and useful tips from experienced owners and mechanics and be able to find the right parts easier.
I am glad to be part of the forum and hope to talk to you guys later.
