Hello, my name is Sean.
I am from Phoenix and currently live in the Austin Texas area. I drive a 1987 Mazda Turbo II RX7 with no mods apart from an apexi exhaust, and I have done little work to it myself. The previous owner did a stock rebuild on it approximately 30k miles ago. I feel I have a good base of knowldge on cars, and basic knowledge on rotaries. Though I have owned an RX8 in the past, this is my first RX7. I love it, but I want more out of it. I am looking to use this car as a nice learning subject to expand my knowledge on cars and the rotary engine. My goal would be to increase the cars RWHP to 350-400. I own a duramax truck as my daily, so I am definitely willing to risk my cars functionality to learn and do everything myself. One of the first things I am wanting to do is to do the porting and internal seal replacement required to up the psi to be in the 20 range when the time comes for me to do so, just to get it out of the way first. If anyone can lead me to some useful forums they have found for this I would be very appreciative.
