hello, my name is curtis
Hi, im curtis. Im 18, and i live in alaska. i bought an 84 rx-7 last year, for $2,300. the engine blew up, and after shop fees, the total cost of the car was about $4,500. I think i did pretty good. It has a very nice interior, and it drives nice. A few things i dont really like about it, and im hoping i can get a flame free answer or two on these,
1. gas sucks. i think im averaging about 10 or 14. i do alot of in city. highway i do great, closer to twenties i believe.
2. i have a really hard time getting it started in the cold if i dont plug it in.
3. no torque after second gear. Third gear, is where my car drops out of the race. i know its a 25+ yr engine, but still, i would like it to keep up with some other cars.
4. my heater doesnt really work.... it blows ALOT of hot air to your feet, even when on the vent setting... not very sure how to fix that....
5. although i would just like for a nice homework lesson on how to beef up my car, im not going to ask that, cause thats a very stupid, and broad question. Im glad to be part of such an enthusiastic forum, and hope to get some useful info on my car!
