Hello, my name is Boris and im from Finland.

So lets get started, hmmm....ok.
I work in logistic company and we have a dozen of trucks. I do everything from painting to engine overhauls so im familiar with technical stuff, but allways want to learn something new.

One day i thought of getting myself a sports car on the track and occasion street use, so thought about Rx7 cos' its rotary engine that i never seen before and knew only little about it. So i went on the internet and found only couple rx7's, but only one decent one and it was in my town (what a luck), immediately called the seller. I got a deal and even haggled 50% off the price (more luck).

So now im owner of my first Rx7, it was FB -85 with 12a in red color. All original and clean. So the thought of modifying raised in my mind, went on the internet and found 13b-rew with gearbox and apexi PFC.
So now i was ready to rebuild that engine and swap it in the FB, but then something struck me and i came to second thought about it "why ruin so nice car in original condition with all racing stuff"

So again i went on the internet and found Rx7 fd -93, bought it and got it to garage.
Now here i am with two teared engines and car to build for track/weekend warrior.

Now i decided to join this forum, beacause this place has proven to be priceless place to get information and without you guys i would be in great trouble.

Hello Boris and welcome! Your story wasn't boring at all Congratulations on your RX7, make sure to post some pictures when you have a chance. Hope you stick around and find this place useful for yourself.

 

Thank you for welcoming me, sure i'll post some pictures (if i find how). Maybe even start some kind of build thread about FD, share some pics and opininons with you and get some advice.

BTW, is here many people from Europe or Scandinavia?

Heres some pics of FD. In the last pic the car is still in the UK year 2010-2011, maybe i can track previous owner or someone who knew him/car from UK at this forum Beacause got no information or any history of car from the guy i bought it here in Finland. Also the car was oversprayed in UK and i would like to know the color code, maybe someone here can recognize the color or is it some custom mix?
