ID hello I am new to site

Hellloooo. I'm new to this site and have joined because I recently traded my motorcycle for an 86 Rx7 na. I have wanted a rotary for some time now and well i thought the trade was a good deal. It's definitely a project car and that is why I am here to get answers about the random stuff that goes on in my car. Hopefully I will be able to find and get answers here on the site. I have already been searching this site for the past few weeks for help and its come in handy already. cant wait to get this car running and looking schweet. - Manbeast

WELL. i have a lot in mind starting with the basics like repair and replacement of old/worn parts. and basic upgrades and sooner most likely later a rebuild on the rotary engine itslef. The car is a definite project. Im pretty sure it was used for drifting with no mods except for the i bahc 2 inch lowered suspension. I am gunna be doing major body work to the car also. Problems right now that I am having are, overheating while parked, flooding issue after i start up in the morning and drive to gas station put gas in and try to start again it floods or not getting fuel. not sure on that one yet. and shaking/hard vibration when accelerating thinking this a worn or busted u joint issue. going to probably buy a brand new driveline and bearings. also I recently found two disconnected wires on the right side around the area of where the spark plugs go into. one is a male connector im guessing 16 guage or slightly bigger. and the other is a female connector but has a plastic piece surrounding it. these wires look like they are important im guessing ground and a sensor wire. havent been able to find where they go though. theres going to be a lot of money going into the car I am hoping to get it into a few autocross races next summer! I may or may not be putting a turbo in my rx7. not sure i kind of just want to do a good weight reduction and remove some of engine area stuff not needed. such as power steering, a/c, egr, and other random stuff. SO, I hope i will get as much help needed from you guys, I've been looking around and have read some pretty useful stuff already.

Did you see/drive the FD that was for sale on Chinden? It looked pretty hammered but I didn't get a chance to drive it. There was also a heavily modded FC on the same lot. Boise is remote and it's damn difficult to find good examples of these cars!

The guy on chinden wont let anyone test drive it. I have a 93 FD and went to check it out. He said it was a 1 owner and the engine had just been replaced. The tires were really old and the paint chipped all over the front. I think the car has some problems and definitely not worth the asking price, and he wouldnt budge.
