Well, after wanting one for years and finally being able to hunt for one for months, I've finally picked up my first RX7. It's an '83 S, and I purchased it from the original owner! It needs some help in the carb department, but it's nothing I can't fix.
That 83 is super clean!! How many miles are on the car? I'd leave that baby stock and as original as possible and enjoy it as much as the weather will allow! Did you get any service records with the car or any of the original purchase paperwork or manuals?
It has 119k on it; but it's not the original engine. He had coolant seals go around 115k, so he had the engine rebuilt at Atkins with retooled 13B housings. I have all the paperwork for the car, the guy took crazy good care of it. My only plans for the immediate future are different wheels (period correct), but obviously gonna keep the + wheels lol. It's a time machine.
