IL Hello to this forum

I have been in this forum for a while but haven't introduce myself. I am an owner of a 94 rx7 fd3s with single turbo fmic setup. Car was a mess when I bought it, no exhaust, rear bumper off, lambo door kit, weird headlights. I will upload pictures of my fd and some of you guys might saw it since I am quite active in fb and also posted one thread in this forum. Third year in US, first time using a forum, first mt car, first rwd car, hope this journey will be amazing.

Welcome to the forum!... I think I do recall this car somewhere.

I'm looking forward to seeing more about it, have you considered starting a build thread to document your progress?

Welcome. I'm glad to see you are putting it back the way it is supposed to be. The FD is near perfection straight from Mazda and very difficult to improve upon.

It's a ModeloDrive FRP OER Rear Bumper. I bought this rear bumper on Ebay. Fitment is okay for a 400 bucks bumper and easy to install for a person with 0% experience with body work. I also do not have the rear bumper side brackets but the gap is not that big. I connect the bottom side of rear bumper by using home depot steel plate.

Absolutely, I am still learning how to use online forum. It cost me some days to find out where to post a hello thread in the forum. I will post up a thread once I find the place to talk about my car's build

I have sold the rear bumper and replaced it with an OEM one. Got it from the marketplace, and the seller is also in IL. I am currently working on this part due to rust on the wheel arch. Local shops charge me 7k plus and the dealership wants to charge me over 10k. I have tried 3 or 4 times to lap weld repair panels on it, but it's either too high or I grind too much and the panel loses connection with the original body parts. So I decided to spray epoxy primer on it and wait for the wide body kit. I have also put on an RE Amemiya front bumper recently.
