Hello! Finally introducing myself SoCal
Hey guys,
I'm Victor, 20 years old. I've been a long time lurker on this forum. Never really needed to post as I've always found great answers to questions from searching. I own an 89 GTUs, that is currently resting in piece in my fathers garage. Motor is blown, bad seal I'm guessing. It has been a year since that fatal day, When I went to drive my car and it made that awful sound upon shifting to 2nd. Since then I have acquired an 07 RX8, and since then, had my first wreck. Hoping it is my last for many years to come as no one should have to go through that awful feeling of losing something they are so dependent on and grown so attached to. Totaled.
Looking for a new 8 is no easy task, and I have chosen to be patient and not settle for anything, less than perfect. In the mean time my dad is gonna help me rebuild the FC with our local rotary mechanic. I'm going to make sure everything is done top notch, with the best quality parts (within reasonable pricing of course). Once the project is started I will start a project thread and take lots of pictures. So look out for it in the next few weeks. As much as I love my RX8 for it being a smooth sexy and quiet ride. The FC has always felt like home....And I have been very homesick.
Here's to new beginnings and finally getting around to rebuilt that damned 13b
Happy new year everyone!
