My name is Mike and I am an impending RX-7 owner. My father has a first gen in his barn in NY that I have been jonesing for. Its an early '78. I've been cruising these boards to see how old it may actually be and how to do a title history search. From what I can gather from this board and the VIN, it's # 6,906 of the early '78s. The VIN is SA22C506906. I live in southeast VA and I need to figure out a way to transport it here from NY. Can anyone verify my interpretation of the VIN or give me any ideas on how to inexpensively transport it? It hasn't been started in a year or driven for two or three.
