Hello everyone

Hi guys and girls, just posting because I'm new to this forum. I've looked at lots of posts here before but never actually registered because I didn't actually own an RX-7, that's now changed however, I bought a 1988 RX-7 a few days ago and it's completely awesome.
My name's Bill, I'm 27 from Cheshunt in Hertfordshire, UK.
I intially couldn't make up my mind whether to buy an Toyota Sprinter Trueno or an RX-7 fc3s but decided that the fc3s was probably the better option as the look of the car is better in my opinion and the parts are probably easier to come by. I see quite a few being broken on ebay.
Anyway, the car runs fine has relatively low mileage and is in good condition, it has been modded slightly. The original wheels have been replaced with 19 inch alloys in birght orange and the exhaust has had the two back boxes removed. It's kind of cool, but it kind of isn't. When I was driving it back from Cambridgeshire to Hertfordshire it did go bang a couple of times when I cranked it up which is brutal but to be honest it's too loud. You can be standing next to someone outside the car while it's on tick over and you honestly can't hear the person next to you. I'm a bit worried about getting a tug by the police because of the volume.
I'm gonna return it to it's original condition and fit two original back boxes and maybe replace the alloys with something a little bit smaller... Oh and change the number plate. It's got a little slogan on it which is not really me.

So anyway, there you have it. Just thought I'd say Hi.
I'm going to register with Mazda Rotary Club as well, so maybe I'll chat with some of you guys on there as well.

Cheers, Bill.
