hello everyone
hello everyone
im new to this forum, i live in Beaufort, South Carolina and im looking into getting a
93 or 94 Mazda Rx-7.
i've been hearing a lot of different things about them, for example that they overheat easily and that theyre unreliable cars and not good daily drivers.
i know for a fact that the overheating problem can be taken care of, as for the daily driving part, i can make that work because i only work about 2 miles away and i wouldnt drive it that much during the week.
ive been looking at a few different ones that have low mileage on the stock 13B.
would you guys recommend an rx-7 as a daily driver if it wasnt going to be driven very far every day?
also, would you recommend purchasing an rx-7 with a rebuilt or engine swap?
i personally would like to get a stock one that hasnt been messed around but it all depends upon availability because rx7s arent easy to come by.

Fd's can be maintenance nightmares unless wrenching on the car is your hobby.
In that case , it's just a lot of work.
13b's can run for hundreds of thousands of miles if reasonably maintained .
