I have a 82 RX7. It shows a lot of its 30+ years, but all in all, a fantastic car.

My current project is redoing the ignition. The car was stolen a few months back. I got it back without a steering wheel and ignition was nothing but a bundle of wires. I have replaced the steering wheel. Now it is time to deal with rewiring the ignition.

I am going to breadboard the wiring according to the wiring information in the manual, hook up 2 toggle switches and a push button starter and viola, back on the road.

When it comes to electrical issues with cars, I do not have a good track record. We shall see how it goes.

Great to see someone else in WA admire the 7. I've been looking for a RX7 for months, but it seems like there aren't much here.

 

That sucks to hear that it was stolen, good thing you're working on rebuilding it.
