Gonna be stuffing a 13b PP into my '71 Datsun 510 2dr shortly here. Setting the car up for open track days and some highway drives.

Scott, why did you decide to go rotary? Get a score on the engine or was it plucked from some FC? In any case, that's going to be one scary ride when you get it done!

Light weight, low center of gravity, good N/A power, sounds awesome, cool alternative to pistons, etc......

So how did you find all this out...car show? Got a rotary fiend who finally converted you? I'm always curious as to just how a person discovers the RX-7 or the rotary engine before they get hooked for real.

 

I'm a motorsport nut, always been a fan of the rotary, had one back in the early 90's although it was a 12A. Initially I was going SR20DET in the Datsun but got a sweet deal on a peripheral port 13b with Racing Beat rotor housings and dry sump set up that I couldn't pass on so.........
