Hello from Charlotte, NC
Hey guys. I don't have an RX-7 (yet) but I'm a big fan of all three generations. Ultimately I'd like to get am FD and restore it (if necessary) in a few years. I do auto body work and worked for a Ford/Mazda dealership in town for over 16 years. I was the main Mazda body tech at the shop. Unfortunately with the economy the shop was sold this year and I no longer work on Mazda's. But I'm still familiar with the FD and even FC. I started working on cars in the 90's so if we got an FB in it was a total. So I really haven't worked on many of those.
Right now I've got a 1990 MX-5 Miata that I've been running for over 14 years. I've done some work on it but have more to do. It's kind of my toy these days because I've replaced it with a 2009 RX-8 R3 in November. I'm not sure if people on this form will like the RX-8 or not. I realize it's kind of a love it or hate it car.
I look forward to reading up on 7's in this form. And to one day own one.

plenty of stuff you can do to your 8. the renesis is sick, differences in exhaust ports if im not mistaken, something about it having less bleed over of exhaust in the intake cycle the way it was redesigned...anyways, welcome.

Welcome to the board, I moved to the Charlotte area about three years ago and just purchased my third FD to restore. There is nothing like owning one, which is why I keep buying them. Lol
SEARCH, SEARCH, AND SEARCH before you decide to purchase an FD.
