I'm Keith, I live in Australia. I have a '77 808 coupe which is my current project car and is being built as an RX-3 SP replica. At the moment it's nearing the end of the body repairs and should be ready for paint in the next month or so, hopefully.

Over the years I've had 3 RX-808 sedans (808 's with rotary conversions) and two FC RX-7's, one series 4 and the later one a series 5. As well as the 808 coupe project I have a '73 RX-4 sedan that needs only minor work for rego but the SP replica is the main priority so the RX-4 will have to wait a bit longer. There was also a stock yellow 808 sedan.

I actually signed up here a while back but haven't posted. Thought it would be a good idea get more involved on here to learn more about the SP's and maybe find some parts for the car.

What is an 808? i always see the fastest rotaries coming out if Australia.

 

An 808 is the piston engine variant of the RX-3. Yea we have some very fast rotaries over here.
