Hello All.
Hiya My names Glenn, 29 years old. Long time lurker finally got the go ahead to make the dream come true.
Ive been in love with the FD since I saw my first one in tokyo in the early 90s. I never had a chance to own one as the military had us moving from one overseas location to the other every 4 years.
18 years later Ive finally gotten to the point of my life where I am stable and can afford the "potential" headache of owning the 1st car I ever wanted, my dream car. Wife gave me the go ahead so Im running with it.
Though Ive loved the FC and FD for as long as Ive really liked cars, my technical knowledge is limited. I plan on reading the crap out of the forums over the winter before purchasing someones 7 this spring and hopefully keeping it in good running condition.

That's awesome and I know the feeling of wanting an FD. Study hard and keep your eyes open and you may find the perfect deal.
Get a service manual too, it will help you become familiar with the car and it's components. Good luck and welcome!
