PA hello all

hello everyone here. i just joined up although i have used the forums before for minor troubleshooting, but now really need the help from the experts on here figuring out what is wrong wit my rx7. got it for 600 bucks back in late october with 146 on the cluster so guess its to be expected but when it does run its such a fun car.... its just getting it to run thats the hard part
i have extensive knowledge in other vehicles mainly the early porsche 924 and older audi's. also have a ZX and a supra both turbos, picked up the rx as a daily driver but it has some strange quirks.. at this point im convinced that it is self aware and just does not want to run
just really hoping to get some help with it soon as i cant have any more cars just sitting arround here and this one seems really easy to work with so just anxious to get out into the regular forums soon

Welcome

To get a jump start on your quest for info and read the 2nd gen FAQ thread to catch up on archived knowledge.

Good luck.

sorry if i came off as a total n00b on that post. ive been over the faqs several times and alot of the troubleshooting threads as well as many other 2nd gen sites, and have tried everything from deflooding to resoldering the contacts on the tumbler, sanding the computer grounds, cleaning the bac, replaced offending vaccum lines and checked the fuel pressure, but it will not stay running to save my life. something is horribly wrong with it and idk what it is to be honest.
had a few really bad experiences with the supra forums so i am really hesitant to even join any forums now because of the reactions i got and ones i saw towards others there. but this forum seems really nice to people and willing to actually listen and help out with someones problems, which i belive something can be learned from everyone, and if this strange no start has ever happened to anyone else and they didnt have the forums the car would of been junked already. i hate to say it but im damn close to just getting rid of it even though i really do love the car, no one seems to know what is wrong which is why im here. at some point down the road i would like to be able to help out anyone else who is having problems or would be able to benefit from my experiences.

thank you for taking the time to read this.
