Hi i'm a Newish Rx7 Owner. I own a 1990 Rx7 GXL With a new 13b rebuild that has 5k miles on it. When I bought it she had transmission problems but for the price I could not pass it up. About after 3 months my automatic transmission went out completely, I mean dead. So it sat for about 7 months and I finally gathered up enough money and decided to do a Swap over to 5 Speed. I've now finished it and I have just so many here and there problems that I don't know where to start. Eradicate Idle, After driving for a while smoke comes up through shifter and smells bad, The the transmission get's really hot near the shifter, also it hesitates when I try to accelerate but that's been there since the automatic tranny. Just some other general questions. I live out here in Newark ohio and I'm just so flustered with trying to start school and Finding a new job it's over whelming. I would love it if someone would like to get together and talk for a day and maybe just listen or take a look at my wonderful RX7. Nice to meet everyone!!
