Hello
On here to do some research, possibly in the market for an FC or FD.
Currently own an 04' MR-S and 00' Miata. Looking to sell those, purchase a cheap DD and an RX7.
I know nothing about these cars, but have always had a secret love for them since I was a kid.
Currently living in TX, but will probably be moving soon.

Haha, my 2zz car has been the only car I've ever owned with 0 problems. It has seen 8500 every day of its life since 2004. You think your Toyota will give you problems, pick up an rx7. That being said mwr has done some awesome 1zz/2zz turbo builds that make good power, i'd love an mrs one day. Either way, good luck, there is tons of good information on here, hit the archives and new member FAQ first.

I've decided I like working on a car I know a lot about. Learning a new car, especially one with a rotary is scary hah. If I had an endless cash flow I'd do it.
Anyways I figured I should update this. In the end decided to turbo the miata (again). Probably the most reliable 200whp out there. It was a Northern car, so I'm pulling everything and removing any signs of rust/replacing anything that needs to be as I go.

Well not really talking just engine here. I've literally unbolted and put back together every part on a miata 3 or 4 times now. It's nice knowing I can do just about anything on the car in a day or so. One day I will own an RX7 though, that is for sure. Probably my most favorite car. Guess it will remain a dream car for a bit longer
