Hello, 91 convertible here
Hey there folks, how's it going? Currently running a 91 convertible. Looking to go for a weird project. Despite the weight, I'm looking to turn my convertible into a complete power house single turbo ran application. Currently running a non-turbo application w/ 108k miles on it. I feel guilty just putting miles on my car.
Always wanted an rx-7 since I was a little kid, now I got one Convertible was always my favorite. Currently looking for a TII turbo engine to toss into my N/A. Everything on it is stock, but the body and paint are flawless, top has minor tears around edges. I plan on putting a new top in, along with a roll bar.
If anyone has any advice on where I can get an 88-91 turbo engine (still alive, no seals blown) for under $1,200... I'm all ears

RXVERT Always in Progress
Wow , sounds , awesome, turboverts were made and sold in Japan, they did sell them to to England , Australia, Canada, and other (Right hand drive Countries) but they never sold them to the U.S. that I know of. However if you look at half the verts out there in the U.S , its about 50/50 half n/a other turbo, ALOT of the members have converted their verts to turbo or streetported or bridgeported them, so, you'll get plenty of help from the members out there that have already done the procedure. Good Luck ,keep us posted.
