hi i have been looking at the forums since i bought my 87 gxl in july... just too lazy to register. but i finally did and i think i will be more active around here now that i am getting ready to start playing with my 7. its an 87 n/a thinking about turboing her... but the body has 180XXX miles on it... at this point im starting to think that i should just look for a new one... any thoughts?

 

hmmm...just buy a new one but keep the one you have incase you need parts

 

Mileage is one thing but the condition of the body is another i.e rust, dents, scratches, bends etc. if its in good condition you could do a swap...

if all else fails keep it as a backup

 

well there are a few little dings and dents, but the worst is on the driver side door... but a new door will fix that one... but im kinda looking into a 3rd gen at this point... but I have a feeling its going to be my unicorn...
